The small charming Hotel Fuente del Sol**** is located in a beautiful landscape, next to La Joya, a small village dependent from Antequera, (Malaga province ) only a stone throw`s away from El Torcal, the first Natural Park in Andalusia, with impressive rock formations that make it a unique spot to visit.

Besides, the Hotel Fuente del Sol**** offers a magnificent restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine and a personal author`s touch from our Chef Jesús Guerrero. You will also enjoy our tennis court, as well as the horse riding, mountain bike and hiking activities, all in a peaceful and natural environment. Easy to reach via AVE train line, or the airports of Málaga and Granada, as well as by car, given its geographic location in the very centre of Andalusia, it is the perfect spot to go and visit monumental cities such as Antequera, Córdoba, Granada, Málaga or Seville...

The hotel has 14 spacious and cosy rooms that are distributed in the following way:

9 Double Standard: each of these rooms has been decorated in a different and exclusive manner. Three of them have double beds and the rest are equipped with King Size beds. They are distributed in two floors. The rooms in the first floor are remarkable for their high ceilings decorated with wood beams and the rooms in the ground floor have private access to the outer side of the hotel, giving more privacy to the guest.

2 Junior Suites: both located in the first floor. Room no. 14, Granado, has a small balcony to the central patio of the hotel and views to the South. Room no. 12, Retama, has a spacious balcony with hammocks to sunbathe, as well as a table and a few chairs to have a snack. This room faces the mountains and the vegetable garden of the hotel.

2 Suites: both are very similar. They are equipped with a spacious living room with chimney, King Size bed and bathroom with shower plate and hydromassage Jacuzzi. The only thing that distinguishes them is their location, since room no. 6, Jara, is on the first floor and room no. 5, Palmito, in the ground floor, but the same views can be enjoyed from both of them. They make the perfect room for families with children, since the additional bed can be fixed in the living room.

1 Imperial Suite: it has a living room with chimney, King Size bed, bathroom equipped with shower and a round hydromassage Jacuzzi as well as a huge terrace of 32 metres which faces South and the mountains.

All rooms are equipped with rustic ceilings and wooden windows, phone, digital TV with DVD, hairdryer, minibar, in-floor heating, Wi-Fi, safe box y and a much intimate and silent atmosphere.

Our restaurant offers an exquisite menu crowded with high quality Mediterranean products and vegetables, some of the latter are grown in our own garden in the hotel.
Our menu is basically made up of Mediterranean-style dishes with an author`s touch from our Chef Jesús Guerrero.

Events and Celebrations
The hotel is equipped with several indoor halls as well as other outdoor spots for the organization of all kind of events, which range from weddings, first communions, company meetings or dinners, incentive payments, Christmas dinners, New Year`s Eve and many other original events. We offer you the possibility to easily book the entire hotel for your group, so the guests can enjoy a greater intimacy and tranquillity in an extraordinary environment. The staff`s long experience on organising all kinds of events allows us to offer flexibility and adaptability according for each customer`s requests.

Great Celebration Hall: recently built, it can host 250 people in banquet seating arrangement, always indoor and illuminated with natural light. The big windows allow the guests to enjoy the beautiful views. The table linen is in white and maroon, fitting the hall decoration.

"Torcal" Meeting Hall: it can host up to 45 people personas in classroom seating arrangement. This room is the perfect place for conferences, speeches and presentations. The hall is located in the ground floor, in a very silent area and, at the same time, it is connected to the Great Celebration Hall, offering the possibility for coffee breaks, cocktails or lunches.

Boutique Hall: it can comfortably host 20 people at an imperial table. This naturally lighted hall is the perfect place for your company meetings. It is located in the first floor, next to the bar, where we can provide you with any meal you request.

Andalusian Patio: this cute spot of the hotel, both original and cosy, is decorated with native flowers and a beautiful fountain at the centre. It can host celebrations up to 90 people in banquet seating arrangement and 120 in theatre seating for weddings. It is also an excellent place to hold cocktails and receptions while enjoying the great panoramic views.
Gardens: the spacious gardens of the hotel include a traditional threshing floor, a vegetable garden, as well as emblematic trees. By the lagoon you will find different native species from this area.
