Jonah’s Whale Beach is one of Australia’s most stunning ocean retreats in Sydney - the most prestigious hotel association in the world. Located on Sydney’s Northern Beaches Jonah’s is a 50 minute drive from the city or an amazing fifteen minute seaplane flight. The perfect beachside escape, Jonah’s offers an acclaimed restaurant, seven luxurious suites, a penthouse and ‚Jonah‘s Private‘, a secluded residence containing three stunning suites.

Jonah’s features ten lovely, well appointed rooms and a gorgeous penthouse. Minimalist lines and muted tones reinforce the focus on relaxing. Each room incorporates hand-crafted furniture, king-size beds and the decadent limestone bathrooms include 20 cm shower-heads. Secluded balconies off each room offer you a place to enjoy a glass of bubbles, laze away the afternoon and absorb the spectacular view. Guests at Jonah‘s enjoy all the features of a traditional five star hotel but with a much more relaxed feel and atmosphere. Make the most of our gourmet room service, massage and beauty treatments by our experienced spa therapist and, block-out blinds for long sleep-ins. Jonah’s features eleven well appointed Ocean Retreat Rooms including one Executive Ocean Retreat. The accommodation at Jonah’s is located in two separate buildings, offering minimalist lines and muted tones to reinforce the focus on relaxing.

Each room incorporates hand-crafted furniture, king-size beds and the decadent limestone bathrooms include 20 cm shower-heads, Molton Brown amenities and a spa bath.Each room has a private balcony offering you a place to relax and absorb the spectacular view. All rooms feature mini bar, complimentary High-Speed Wireless, Flat screen TV with extensive FOXTEL channels, in-room safe, DVD player, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, bathrobes and air-conditioning. Please note our special access room does not feature a spa bath.

The Terrace
Jonah’s Terrace balcony is perched on the cliffs of Whale Beach overlooking the Tasman Sea, allowing the cool scent of the ocean to breeze past as diners make the most of the unparalleled location. The balcony is also home to a special menu of lighter, mid meal grazing items.

Dress Code
We maintain a smart-casual dress code in the dining room at Jonah’s. We do not allow swimwear, men’s singlets/tank tops and/or flip-flops. Should the Manager on duty find your attire does not meet our dining room dress code standards, we reserve the right to request a clothing change or recommend our casual dining area, on the Terrace or Lawn.
